Jeffrey S. Brzezinski, Ph.D.
Archaeologist, Researcher, Lecturer

Welcome to my page!
I am an archaeologist with a research program focusing on the early complex societies of prehispanic Mesoamerica. I am currently pursuing programs of archaeological research in coastal Oaxaca, Mexico and in the southern Maya lowlands of Petén, Guatemala. My goal as an anthropologist is to share our discipline’s unique ability to examine power and inequality through time and space. This perspective integrates my research agenda, teaching philosophy, and approach to mentoring students.
